The pay-TV channels HISTORY and Crime + Investigation are operated and marketed in German-speaking countries by A + E Networks Germany. A + E Networks Germany is represented by The History Channel (Germany) GmbH & Co. KG. based in Munich and is part of A + E EMEA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hearst.
A + E Networks is one of the world's leading producers of factual entertainment with exclusive series and documentary series such as "Alone", "Barbarian Rebellion" and "60 Days In". The A + E Studios, founded in 2014, also produced fictional success series such as "Roots".
