Overview
The mosque is the house of Allah on Earth, a place of prostration and the center of human worship to the Creator. As a center of worship, the mosque is the first Islamic institution built by the Prophet.
Not only that, but the mosque also functions as a center for fostering the ummah and development of Islamic civilization, spiritual oasis, and intellectual enlightenment in producing cadres to realize the mission of rahmatan lil 'alamin and as Khalifatullah fil Ardl.
In this context, besides being a center for mahdhah (special) worship activities such as prayer, dzikir, i'tikaf, and so on, the mosque also functions as a center for religious activities of Aam (general) which are social in nature such as teaching and learning activities, guidance community counseling, and Islamic activities.
