Maharishi Channel resumes daily live broadcasts of Maharishi Global Family Chat, 8 January 2010. From 1 to 7 January 2010, the Maharishi Channel broadcast a special, continuous series of video replays featuring beautiful, historic addresses from 1970 through January 2008 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.
During this time, the traditional week of Silence at the beginning of January observed for many years by Maharishi, the Maharishi Channel did not present daily live broadcasts of Maharishi Global Family Chat, the news show featuring achievements and expansion of Maharishi's programs in countries around the world.
On 7 January, a live broadcast featured a ceremony at the International Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in MERU, Holland, celebrating the end of the week of Silence. Daily live broadcasts of Maharishi Global Family Chat will resume on 8 January 2010.
Replays of Maharishi's historic addresses—including highlights of his Global Press Conferences from 2002 to 2007—will also continue at other times during the day.
