El-Arna (Russian: Ел-Арна) is a television station in Kazakhstan based in Almaty, which was founded in 2000 as the only television station in Kazakhstan that broadcasts only in Kazakhstan. Today, however, he sends both in Kazakh and Russian language. El-Arna is owned by the state television station Khabar.
The television station began broadcasting in March 2000 as a sister station of Khabar, initially under the name Khabar-2. The program was only broadcast in the Kazakh language. Since September 2002, the programs of El-Arna are also broadcast in Russian.
El-Arna's program includes talk shows, music shows, quizzes, documentaries, as well as children's and teenage formats and cooking shows. Also national and foreign feature films are broadcast by El-Arna.
