CapeTV 98 is the government access channel for the City of Cape Coral. Programming can be viewed 24 hours a day on Channel 98 of Comcast Cable and Channel 94 on CenturyLink Prism TV. The City also provides a streaming video of the channel via our City website.
The City's primary mobile video streaming service for CapeTV programming is available via DaCast. DaCast is mobile friendly and does not require a special app for viewing. Mobile viewers can watch CapeTV programming via their iPad, iPhone or Android device.
CapeTV provides live broadcasts of all City Council meetings as well as hearings and meetings of the Planning & Zoning Commission, Metropolitan Planning Organization, City of Cape Coral Municipal Charter School Authority. Council meetings are taped for replay.
Cape TV Live Meeting and Replay Schedule:
- The Cape Coral City Council meets every Monday at 4:30 p.m. The meeting is taped and replayed on Thursday (5 p.m.) Friday (8 a.m., 10 p.m.) and Saturday/Sunday (12:30 p.m., 12:30 a.m.).
- The Planning & Zoning Committee meets once a month on Wednesday at 9 a.m. The meeting is taped and replayed after the City Council replay on Saturday/Sunday (12:30 p.m.) on the weekend following the live meeting.
- The Police/Fire "Do the Right Thing" Awards are presented monthly from September through May at 2 p.m. This program is broadcast live and replayed at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 7 p.m. Saturday/Sunday only the same week of the live event. Call 574-0679 for the schedule.
- The Cape Coral Youth Council is comprised of 14 students that reside in the City of Cape Coral. This Council meets every other week on Friday at 2:45 p.m. in Council Chambers to discuss topics important to our youth and report recommendations to City Council. The meeting is replayed on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
The City also provides a video of the City Council meeting for viewing on-demand. The video is indexed to the meeting agenda, which allows viewers to access specific points within the meeting. Videos usually are posted by the end of the week of the particular meeting.
